How am I making it safe for you to access this service?

Here at MoveWell we are following the government precautions and advice in response to the Coronavirus pandemic:

Regular cleaning of all surfaces is undertaken throughout the day.

All equipment is cleaned and sanitised between clients, including the plinth, chair, yoga mats and any gym equipment used.

Hand sanitiser is provided throughout our premises: 

We ask that you sanitise your hands when you arrive in clinic and when you leave.

We will also check your temperature on arrival.

Appropriate PPE is worn by the therapist.

Regular hand washing is completed throughout the day.

We do ask that you protect yourself and undertake regular handwashing, and wear a face mask while in the clinic room.

We also ask that anyone who has any of the following symptoms: a new, continuous cough, fever or a loss or change to your sense of smell or taste, to re-schedule their face to face appointments with us for a time when symptoms have resolved or a suitable amount of time has passed.

To those who this applies you can still take advantage of our telephone** appointments.

We also ask that your protect yourself as best you can and undertake regular handwashing.

**Telephone appointments are available. We are based in a gym which is following all the relevant safety precautions closely and has reduced class numbers, however those with reservations about public spaces can book a telephone triage appointment with our therapist.

What to expect when you arrive

  • When you first arrive at the gym there is hand sanitiser on the wall on your left which I ask you to use

  • A member of the gym coaching staff will take your temperature and you should advise them you are there for an appointment with MoveWell

  • Walk into the gym, and past the red sofa on the left there is a door into "The Snug". This is the waiting area and all surfaces are regularly cleaned throughout the day. Please wait here until it is time for your appointment. You don't need to check in with anyone.

  • At your appointment time your therapist will collect you and take you upstairs to the well-ventilated treatment room

  • Your therapist will be wearing a face mask, apron and gloves (gloves are removed for massage appointments); we ask you to wear your own face mask too

  • There will be hand sanitiser in the treatment room and throughout the gym to use at regular intervals

  • If it is your first appointment at MoveWell you will be asked to fill in a short questionnaire with your personal details and consenting to treatment and storage of your personal information. If you would like to see a copy of this before your appointment please get in touch.

  • We are allowing an extra 15 minutes between appointments to make sure we can clean all surfaces and equipment in between clients
